Will Smith Denies Practicing Scientology, Again
Will Smtih issued another denial on Monday (September 15) about continuing reports that he has joined Scientology.At the premiere of ‘Lakeview Terrace,’ Smith told Fox News that he held discussions with anti-Scientology group Anonymous to clarify claims a school he funded was teaching the practices of L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology.“You can take different parts of things you like and put them all together,” Smith explained about the schools teachings.Anonymous released a statement at the time saying, “We appreciate Will’s interest in our efforts and his openness in speaking with us directly. It shows his concern both as a parent and educator.”When asked if he had become a Scientologist, Smith answered directly, “I am not.”
