Victoria Beckham was named Glamour magazine’s Woman of the Year on Tuesday night. The former Spice Girl, who also won Entrepreneur of the Year, attended the London event dressed in a corset and pair of frilly underwear.Glamour editor Jo Elvin said:
“For the past ten years, Victoria Beckham has been a figure of fascination. She has successfully reinvented herself from pop star to devoted wife and mother, to successful designer and business mogul.”She is indicative of the modern woman, successfully juggling the balance between work and home, and is a role model in terms of achieving it all.”After thanking Glamour magazine and its readers, Victoria said:
“I don’t feel the need to be famous any more but fame has given me the tools to do what I really love. Whether it’s perfume, sunglasses, jeans - I enjoy them all.”Victoria caused a stir on the red carpet with her raunchy choice of outfit, showing off her slim legs in vintage-style tights and patent stilettos.
