Shakira declined a role in the movie ‘Love In The Time Of Cholera’ because it would have involved her stripping for a scene.Shakira revealed that author Gabriel Garcia Marquez wanted her to act in the movie but she balked because she was scared the nude scene would offend her parents.The pop singer has been nominated for a Golden Globe for the soundtrack of the movie.She says: ‘There was nudity involved, so I said no. My parents wouldn’t like it at all. So I said thank you, but no thank you.’
