Miley Cyrus To Star In Upcoming Nicholas Sparks Movie

Miley Cyrus has signed on to star in a new and still untitled Nicholas Sparks film, US Magazine reported. The role is being written especially for the 15-year-old “Hannah Montana” starlet. After meeting with Disney execs, Miley named Sparks’ “A Walk to Remember” as an example of projects she’d want to headline. So Sparks agreed to write a novel (due in fall 2009) and screenplay adaptation for the film. Sparks told Variety that the Cyrus fam was “very familiar with the work I’ve done in the past. That played a role in this project coming together.” Miley’s mother, Tish, is serving as the flick?s executive producer.
