Screen Gems has locked down Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester as its cast of country singers in “Love Don’t Let Me Down,” which Tobey Maguire is producing.Production on the drama is set to start in January in Nashville.Pic, which Shana Feste wrote and will direct, revolves around a rising young singer-songwriter (Hedlund) who becomes involved with a fallen country singer, to be played by Paltrow. As they embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband and manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester), romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.
