Megan Fox is more than just a pretty face. She’s determined to be more than a sex symbol and to show women’s rights matter to the actress, she’s donating her “Love the Way You Lie” paycheck to a women’s shelter.

The benefiting shelter, named Sojourn, takes in abused and battered women. According to several reports, Fox gave the unnamed fee to Sojourn because they assist “battered women” and offer their space to help the women and children “regroup, rebuild, and reestablish their self-esteem and lives.”

In the music video, the 24-year-old Megan Fox plays the part of the victim in domestic violence. Accompanied by the vocals of Rihanna and Eminem, Fox was said to help portray a “super powerful” message to fans. According to several reports, the mission of the music was met with rave reviews.
