Brad Pitt was disgusted to see extensive coverage of socialite Paris Hilton’s stint in jail on U.S. TV network CNN in June (07). Pitt, partner Angelina Jolie and their four children, Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Shiloh spent the month in France, blissfully unaware of the socialite’s latest drama. When they returned to their native U.S., Pitt turned on CNN expecting to see coverage of international events, such as war in Iraq, and couldn’t believe the attention Hilton’s prison sentence had attracted. He tells America’s Details magazine, “This Paris Hilton quest for fame. She’s blissfully obvious. “Oh my god, we’ve been away for… Where were we? We hadn’t seen television for like a month. I’m probably exaggerating. “And we just got back to the United States. And we turned on CNN. And on comes Paris Hilton, going to jail. And so we just turned it off again.”
