During the American Music Awards, Beyoncé was awarded the international artist award. This honor has only been given to very few artists that include Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, Michael Jackson and Rod Stewart. The award was presented by R&B singer, dancer, and actor Usher. Beyonce was teary eyed as she delivered her speech. She says, “I am so blessed to wake up every morning and do what I love to do.” Furthermore, she says, “I don’t take it for granted. I’m so grateful, I’m so honored and I’m so humbled by this award.” Also, Beyoncé performed onstage with country band Sugarland with her top song “Irreplaceable.” The song was performed in a country/bluegrass arrangement which was the band’s publicist’s idea. Beyoncé expresses her thoughts on the collaboration. She says, “A good thing about a good song is it can be played in any genre.” She also adds, “”I’m up for anything. Beyonce Knowles arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines on Tuesday via her private jet for her concert at The Fort in Taguig City on Wednesday.Security will be tight at the concert, as there are over 150 policemen that will be there to make sure nothing gets out of hand. Beyonce Knowles took India by storm on Saturday night (October 27), putting on a dazzling performance in her first trip to Mumbai. The Irreplaceable singer danced and sang her hit numbers for a large gathering of mostly youngsters at the MMRDA Grounds. Beyonce Knowles’ upcoming concert in Malaysia has been cancelled, reportedly after the R+B superstar refused to tone down her stage show in order to perform. The singer had been due to make her debut in Kuala Lumpur in November (07), but was recently warned by organisers to cover up onstage to avoid offending fans in the predominantly Muslim country.
