After discovering SK-II skin care seven years ago, Blanchett has been a firm fan of the brand and signed up as their global ambassador in October last year. In celebration of her new role, SK-II have created Cate’s Essential Kit, containing all of the Oscar winner’s favourite products.The set contains Facial Treatment Essence, Facial Treatment Repair C, and Facial Treatment Masks, a three part routine which aims to aid the skin’s renewal process, and lead to a brighter and more radiant complexion.Of the Facial Treatment Repair C, Blanchett said, ‘I definitely see and feel a change in my skinÂ’s texture after using Facial Treatment Repair C. ItÂ’s a highly concentrated moisturizing product that replenishes my skin, leaving it smooth and radiant.’Commenting on her role, Blanchett revealed, ‘Throughout my career, I have only accepted roles that I am passionate about, and my partnership with SK-II is no different. I truly believe I already played this role as an ambassador long before SK-II caught up with me.’Blanchett also stars in the advertising campaign for the range, which can be seen in stores from this month.
