Kristin Chenoweth is the latest star to be tapped to temporarily fill Paula Abdul’s former seat as an American Idol guest judge, FOX tells PEOPLE exclusively.The actress, who is nominated for an Emmy for best supporting actress in a comedy series for her performance in ABC’s canceled Pushing Daisies will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi for the Orlando auditions later this week.

Parker Posey has withdrawn from a lead role in the upcoming Playwrights Horizons’ production of “This” after developing Lyme disease.Artistic director Tim Sanford says the play by Melissa James Gibson will open Dec. 13 as scheduled at the off-Broadway theater. Kelly Osbourne has opened up to the public about her addiction to the prescription drug Vicodin. She said her addiction went out of control in 2002 when her mother, Sharon, was found to have colon cancer. She also admitted that her dad Ozzy?s involvement in a near-fatal quad-bike accident in 2003 also affected her very negatively. She said it got to the point where she?d take 50 pills in one day and would go without washing for weeks.
