Kevin Federline has turned to his ex-lover Shar Jackson for acting advice. The dancer/rapper, who ditched Jackson for Britney Spears, will make his movie debut in the thriller Night Watch, opposite Keanu Reeves and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker.

Former Moesha star Jackson – the mother of two of Federline’s children – has offered to give her ex tips on performing for the silver screen. She tells talk show host Larry King, “I will tell him, I can be his acting coach. That is what I do.”

Federline recently appeared in an episode of TV drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Whitney Houston’s toyboy lover Ray J has landed a deal with America’s leading condom company after hitting the headlines for his part in a leaked sex tape. The bosses of contraceptive giants Trojan have signed up to sponsor the R&B playboy, whose home video footage of a lovemaking session with Los Angeles socialite Kim Kardashian caused a furor last year when it was leaked to an Internet porn firm.

Ray J says, “I’m doing a little Trojan deal. It’s in play right now.”

The young entrepreneur insists he has no problems with the quirky deal – because it’s all just business: “At this moment you can either sit back and watch everything just go, or you can capitalize and come up with a way to make $20 million a year.”

The Trojan condom deal isn’t the only one the enterprising singer is working on. He adds, “I’m sponsoring a new drink that kind of stimulates you, like liquid Ecstasy, but over-the-counter.”

While “work hard, play hard” is hardly an unknown mantra in Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan’s recent exploits may have crossed the line. The New York Times reports that in light of her return to rehab on May 28, studio executives are “mentally wiping Ms. Lohan from their short lists.”

One studio chief, under the guise of anonymity, told the Times, “he would not hire her until she proved herself healthy and reliable.” That could mean being sober, as well as covering her own insurance, even on an independent film, the NYT reports.

None of this comes as a surprise to people in the film industry, given Lohan’s previous problems on-set. After she failed to attend the international press junket for her film Herbie: Fully Loaded, Disney severed ties with the actress, who had made previous films of theirs like Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap, a success. And a letter from the producer of Georgia Rule calling Lohan, 20, a “spoiled child” that was leaked to the press allowed everyone a window into the actress’ destructive behavior.
